Planning a trip to New York and need help? - planning a trip to new york

Planning to go to New York for 4 days and 3 nights, but I've never been there. I really do not know what to do and where to sleep. I want you on the Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero, what do you advise him? I am attracted to many outdoor activities and some not from the history too well. Where can I stay it will be cheap? Is there a place that should not be? I heard something in the east and west, the upper and lower Manhattan ... What is it?

Thank you.

The following suggestions are wasted by the industry in reducing the travel time together:
Lower Manhattan: World Trade Center, the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Iceland (the same boat, a price, get off and explore, take a boat below; WARNING - very long lines that form and can wait two hours or more in board) in stock, Fraunces Tavern, Chinatown, South Street Seaport
Midtown: United Nations (gift shop is a good place for souvenirs and no sales tax!), The Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center
High City: Central Park Zoo, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Natural History / Rose Space Center
Way Uptown: The Cloisters (most beautiful place in New York and a large museum of the Middle Ages); Dyckman House (headquarters of the British army in the Revolution)
Bronx Zoo, Botanical Garden
Brooklyn: Aquarium, Coney Iceland
Queens: Bowne House (on the metro stop), Quaker Meeting House (eg, near Brown's house from the 17th century, the place of the first application) for religious freedom; NY Hall of Science and aviary next the whaleLevel K see trees, birds
Staten Iceland: Marchais Tibetan Museum (only Tibetan museum in the U.S.) Conference House (site of the Peace Conference was held only during the Revolution, Franklin and Adams are two Delgato on the side of EA. UU.) Snug Harbor
Pick and choose as above would take a week or more
